Mostar Private Tour

Day trips from Dubrovnik are always exciting. But one of the best is certainly the Mostar tour. Mostar is a town located in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina that is known for its many contrasts in culture and religion. But maybe the most wonderful thing about Mostar is the iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge). This beautiful medieval arched bridge was reconstructed after the Bosnian War. Mostar will impress you with its small shops and colourful market stalls, delicious cuisine and the Neretva River that divides the city in half. Adriatic Explore offers the best Mostar tour from Dubrovnik - but it doesn’t stop there: if you want to get in touch with your spirituality, the Medjugorje day trip from Dubrovnik is the right choice for you.

Places you can visit

Mostar

The city of Mostar is a place of contrasts, rich in culture, colour and with an amazing cuisine. The Neretva River that flows through it divides the city in half. But this city is also divided by religion and culture from one bank of the river to the other.

Kravice

Kravice is one of the most fascinating natural wonders of the Herzegovinia region. The waterfall is created by the Trebižat river, and is a natural wonder that is now under state protection. These waterfalls are among the largest in Herzegovina and definitely the most impressive.

Medjugorje

Medjugorje is a small town located in the Herzegovina region close to the border with Croatia. Since 1981 it has become a popular place of Catholic pilgrimage due to the apparitions of the Virgin Mary that were reported by six local children. As a result this is a place of change, prayer, penance, fasting and peace.

Blagaj

Blagaj is a haven of natural harmony and peace located only three kms from Mostar. It’s located right at the source of the Bona river and next to old tekke (a monastery rich with elements of Ottoman and Mediterranean architecture).

Pocitelj

The village is placed in a natural amphitheatre, beside the Neretva river. This walled town evolved in the period from the16th to 18th centuries. The stone-constructed parts of the town make a fortification of that shows two stages of evolution: Medieval, and Ottoman.
