Trsteno & Pelješac Wine Tasting

The whole coastline around Dubrovnik is literally sprinkled with small cozy towns that are absolutely worth a visit! Enjoy a peaceful walk in one of the most spectacular botanical gardens in the region, located in the picturesque village of Trsteno - a perfect break from the busy Medieveal town of Dubrovnik! Then we will work our way further along the coast to the town of Ston, famous for its massive defensive walls and delicious oysters. Through a narrow isthmus Ston is connected to the Peljesac penninsula, a paradise for both wine lovers and nature lovers. Whether you are new to wine tasting or a real expert – a visit to a local winery won't leave you unsatisfied!

Places you can visit

Trsteno

Trsteno is located some 24 km northwest of Dubrovnik. It’s an old fishing village where Dubrovnik noble Ivan Gucetic built his summer residence in the 16th century. Here you can find one of the oldest and most beautiful Arboretums in the entire region.

Ston

Once the second major town in the Dubrovnik Republic, today the salt-producing Ston is a lovely settlement with traditional stone facades and forteenth-century walls, often described as „The Chinese wall of Europe“. The town is also one of Croatia's Oyster hotspots – don't miss the opportunity to try delicious local seafood.

Pelješac peninsula

Peljesac is a scenic peninsula that stretches into the Adriatic Sea, best known for wine-making and beautiful hidden beaches. Lush Mediterranean vegetation and picturesque vineyards that cling to the rocky hillsides will leave you absolutely speechless.

The Franjo Tuđman bridge

The tour involves stopping at some great view spots on the way, like The Franjo Tuđman bridge near the Port of Gruž. This impressive construction is the most expensive bridge in Croatia, opened in 2002.
