As charming and addictive as the Old City is, it’s not all Dubrovnik has to offer! There are so many lovely small settlements around the historical town that are absolutely worth a visit. This will be an enjoybale day trip to the popular rural area south of Dubrovnik. We will start with the ancient town of Cavtat, once a Greek colony, nowadays a popular holiday settlement some 30 minutes ride from Dubrovnik. Stroll along the town's impressive waterfront, check out some of the most famous histroical buildings, or simply get a coffee in one of the cozy local cafes and enjoy spectacular sea views. We will continue on to Konavle situated a little bit further south from Dubrovnik. This fertile picturesque ribbon of land, safely locked between the mountains and the Adriatic sea, for many centuries supplied Dubrovnik with fruit, vegetables and great wine. What better way to experience the region than through its huge wine culture! With locals trying hard to maintain their traditions and bucolic lifestyle, our visit to a local winary will defintiely become the main highlight of the day. A panoramic stop on the way back to Dubrovnik is a great way to end this exciting tour!
