Wine Lover’s Tour of the Peljesac Peninsula
Wine has been a part of civilization for thousands of years. In Croatia it is tied to a long tradition of living off the land in this beautiful, but often harsh landscape. Enjoy a trip around the country’s premier wine growing region and taste the terroir of Croatia.
You will travel along scenic roads among the scattered villages and hills covered with vineyards to meet some of the people responsible for bringing top class Croatian wine to the table of many local and international restaurants. Accompanying the group, will be a sommelier with a true passion for Peljesac and its wines. This tour includes wine tastings and presentations at two family owned wineries and a lovely homemade snack at one of them. You will also visit a beautiful historic town of Ston, famous for its ancient salt factory and long defensive walls.
We look forward to you joining us on a trip through wonderful Dubrovnik Riviera an learning about the past and the present of local wine making.
